If you have a dog that refuses to get near water, and you want it to learn how to swim, and you don’t want to “get over protective” as some people say, then you are left with the option of just pushing them into the water. As my father recalls that’s how his brothers got their dogs to swim. Apparently throwing their dog into the creek 4, 5 times did the trick, and the dog jumps in on its own afterwards.
Anyway, if I have a dog, I’d love to take it to places like this:
Although, that creek only appears once or twice during the wet season.
