As per title.
The models I find available for rent in iRent and other car rentals like them have rather low clearance from the ground, meaning an elderly person would find it difficult to get in and out. So sedans are not a good choice.
I am thinking RAV4 types would be better but can’t find a company that rents such easily. Does anyone have any experience in this field and can recommend one?
They are are rare, but iRent does actually have some Corolla Cross’ now. They are of a similar build to RAV4. There is a way to filter only those vehicles through the app so it’s easier to find.
Some suggestions:
I think Livina would be a bit low. But Outlander and the Honda should be okish.
The Cross is actually not high enough for comfort, we tried.
Just to give context, Granny broke her ankle and she needs transportation in which she can butt shuffle in…and most importantly, not have to get up to get out but also butt shuffle out.
I bit outside the box but how about looking for a small van like a townace, they are probably smaller than some of the giant cars on the road. If you get one with seats in the back it has plenty of room to get in and out.
