Are you saying that’s too much or too little? 30k per year per dog/cat doesn’t sound like too much in my perspective.
However, at least the strays are going somewhere. I read an article somewhere that they are banning euthanizing strays in the near future spanning from that incident where the vet at a shelter euthanized herself bc of internet bullying?

Apparently, the future is now. 
I volunteered at the animal shelter up in Yong He on weekends and I am glad that the reason I’m not seeing dogs from my previous visit is possibly because euthanizing is banned.
So tough not to take one of them home after being there.
