Don’t jinx it, man! Quick, knock on simulated wood paneling!
Oh man! I cannot handle this roller coaster weather!
They said we would have nice weather until Friday.
Do you always believe what “they” say though?
Well, CWB is not that bad, and usually I look into Japan’s website too, for accuracy.
Maybe they meant Friday’s early hours.
BTW, really windy out there. The howling between the passages of this old Japanese structure sounds like a trapped ghost.
Indeed.
It was quite difficult to keep the balance when driving my scooter today. Some strong wind gusts were hitting me randomly from all sides!
Just imagine you’re in a Miyazaki movie.
Puff! Got a very heavy workload, so I’ll pretend I am Chihiro trying to free my parents.
It’s a crime to be in the office today…
It’s a crime to be in the office today…
In this case, the crime and the punishment are one and the same.
I wasn’t at the office.
I wasn’t at the office.
Curse you, creature of the light!
Taiwan has a wet cold that is much colder then the temp suggests
We currently have 1 at night and about 15 daytime and it doesn’t feel as cold
Of course heating inside the home to 23 certainly makes the difference when home
Imagine if it gets to 1 in Taiwan homes
I remember getting down to 4 in wanli and three space heaters only got it up to 7
American homes are very well insulated and made not of concrete so pretty easy to heat to 23 or more even when below zero outside
Course our homes can be blown down if we got your typhoons

Freeze to death and keep house…or have some nice warm fuzzy and lose house.
Tough decision.
Well, if you freeze to death, you can’t rebuild cause you’re dead. But if your house is gone, you can always rebuild it if you’re alive.
