My sister in New York complains that the cockroach situation there has (somehow) worsened with all the construction going on in the city. She lives downtown and may be affected by the new 2nd Ave line plus all of NYU’s continued redevelopment around the Village. One effect has been even more cockroaches than usual are seeping into apartments.
Knowing her, she has tried all kinds of countermeasures, so it was surprising that she contacted me and asked if there was any Cockroach Chalk still available in Taiwan. Apparently, given how toxic it may well be to pets, it isn’t available to her.
I kind of remember seeing it in the past. I have looked in Wellcome, Carrefour and the other chain grocery (red white blue logo) but the closest things they have are glues and gels for roaches and ants, in addition to traps and sticky paper.
Do you know where I could pick up some old-fashioned cockroach chalk like in the picture below?
