Has anyone done any work besides teaching english? Are there manual labor jobs available perhaps? Or maybe international sales to english-speaking countries?
Plenty tech writing/editing jobs going, a fair few marketing and possibly sales as well. Have a look around, it’s not impossible, but it needs to be white collar work as otherwise you won’t get a work permit and ARC.
Where would someone find marketing/sales jobs? Most of the websites are in Mandarin, and I dont read it well enough to do job searching there 
You go to 104.com.tw and type the word marketing in the third box, you’ll be amazed as how many jobs are advertised in English on there. If all else fail, use Google translate.
Also, CyberLink is generally always looking for people, shite company to work for from what I hear and the pay ain’t fantastic, but it’s experience that counts, right?
