Work Permit for PT Editing Work

Is it possible to get a work permit for PT editing work? If so, what is PT considered in the world of writing and editing for English magazines? I’ve been a foreign student up to now with an ARC, but that time limit has expired (three years).

Thanks!

What is considered PT? Anything that’s not full time, of course. However, the actual hours don’t matter. What DOES matter is the minimum monthly salary for a white-collar worker, which is around NT$48k, irrespective of the number of hours.
So if they’re prepared to pay you at least that amount, they should be able to get you a work permit.
If they don’t think NT$48k is worth it for the amount of work they need you to do, you’ll have problems.

The magazine I sometimes work at (I don’t get a work permit with them, though) has several part-timers who only work 20 hours a week and make much less than NT48,000. And they have work permits.
