I need a large pet carrier for my pitbull, heading back to the States next April. The Petmate Sky Kennel (size XL) is perfect but I can’t find a US supplier that will ship it here. My Chinese sucks, so Googling local sources isnt working out. I live in Taichung (Nantun District), anybody know where to get one?
Yep. I need the biggest one, which doesn’t ship here. Airlines are very strict about the dog size to crate size ratio haha. Thanks though.

Caveat: I’m just an old guy, and other than books, I hardly ever order anything online, especially since I’ve come to Taiwan. So I can’t guarantee anything in this post. The reason I’m saying all this disclaimer-type language is that the last time I tried to help somebody with this sort of thing on this board (they wanted to order insecticide), I was informed by a knowledgeable person that the requesting person could have gotten in trouble with customs if they had ordered using the link I provided (Yikes!). Also, I don’t know whether there will be the same problem as the problem you had with ordering from Amazon; I’m just putting these up here in case they can help you.
So maybe you’d better wait for someone more knowledgeable to help you before you do anything. For all I know, maybe someone can direct you to a regular brick-and-mortar-type store that carries this item here in Taiwan.

In case the others are sold out, or there’s some other problem, here are a few more pages showing Petmate Vari Kennel. I know you wanted the Sky Kennel kind, so I don’t know if the carriers shown on these pages have suitable characteristics, but they seem to have the dimensions you want (they seem to be giant-sized).
I don’t know how to use these kinds of sites; hopefully there’s someone who can help you with that.

If I’m early on my way home next week I’ll drop by at my pet store and I’ll ask them if they have huge size travel crates, I know they have large, I already asked that a while ago.
They were around 7,000 NT$ when I asked last time.
