Crikey, what an uplifting and encouraging little thread this is. Surfing at the wrong time? Wait, just wait, and I will pass you that straw you are grasping for. There ya go.
How about you write a list of 100 laws you have broken, or 100 laws people break in your home country? How about a list of 100 reasons why you should be grateful to live in Taiwan?
I just don’t get the point of walking about and criticising everything around you. Why don’t you do something to improve your quality of life, instead of trying to collect other negative nellies to be in your gang?
Seriously, surfing at the wrong time? Swimming in a prohibited place? Dumping trash? You’ll get splinters scraping about in the bottom of a barrel like that.
I was just thinking about a summary of things that could be improved in Taiwan by enforcing existing laws. I think it is an interesting fact of life in Taiwan that the laws are in place, but the police is not enforcing them. A bicyclist runs a red light and passes a policeman at the side of the road. No reaction by the policeman, nothing. Doesn’t mean that it is better in my home country. Just an observation of life in Taiwan.
