183 days less - no need to pay TAX?

HI, is it true that you dont have to pay tax if you work less than 183 days…assuming you have a work permit and ARC? Please help, it’s urgent.

As I uderstand it, that is not true. If you are here fewer than 183 days in the calendar year, you pay a flat 20% tax. If you’re here longer than that you pay at a different rate, approximately the same as locals. It’s usually much less than 20%, unless you make a lot of money.
