I plan on overstaying for 2 months. Does anyone know what the fine will be? I think that it will be cheaper to pay the fine than going somewhere to get a new 60 day visa. Do you agree? I don’t care if I get a stamp in my passport than bans me for a year.

Yes, it would probably be cheaper to just overstay. I think the maximum fine is something like NT$10,000, but for two months you could get off a lot more lightly, especially if you write them a nice groveling letter saying how sorry you are, that you won’t do it again, etc.
Really, the grovelling letter can make a difference, despite how silly it sounds.
