Return engagement . . . the Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show will be performing at The Farmhouse in Taipei on Friday, 29 Sept. 2006, 9:00-10:30pm. The show is in English with Chinese interpretation.

The Farmhouse is located at No. 5, Lane 32, Shuang Cheng Street, Taipei . . . you can call (02) 595-1764/5 for more information about the show, to make reservations, or to ask for directions on how to get there.

This is the only regular entertainment comedy hypnosis show in Taiwan so get there early and be sure to tell your friends. The venue does sell drinks and it is a “Taipei nightlife” engagement, so no children or minors.

As many in Taiwan know, The Farmhouse is a “classic” venue in Taipei . . . for many years it was THE happening place in Taipei and so a lot of folks have connections to it. There is a looooong list of Taiwanese pop stars, including A-Mei among many, who got their start there. The Farmhouse is a living rock music landmark and today continues its tradition of bold new acts and outstanding entertainment. Join us on the Last Friday of Every Month for the hypnosis show.

For our bilingual performances (English with Chinese interpretation) of the Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show, basic interpretation has been done by Lorraine Phillips with on-stage assistance in the volunteer management and interpretation of the hypnosis inductions from local hypnotists. These are all certified hypnotists who have taken my stage hypnosis course and other workshops. Most of the onstage hypnotists are wellknown within the Taiwan hypnosis community (there are actually quite a few hypnotists here).

This week, the on-stage hypnosis assistant will be the delightful Patsy Wu. Patsy is an energetic and fun hypnotist. When I did the Street Hypnosis bit for the ICRT Street Party last Summer she showed up and did some impromptu hypnosis with me so those who saw that will recognize her as the “curly haired” attractive woman.
