I wanted to create a thread for tennis fans who want to discuss all things pro tennis in 2020.
To start things off, who are you eager to follow for a good 2020? Perhaps someone you want to see make significant improvements? Someone you’re just a fan of? Someone coming off injury?
I’m particularly interested in following:
(1) Denis Shapovalov – his looping strokes and attacking style make for very entertaining, though inconsistent tennis. Had a rough start to 2019, but ended off strong (probably due to coaching changes?).
(2) Kei Nishikori – As an Asian-American, seeing Asian men do well is always something I follow. Hope he can get back from his elbow surgery and get past the Big 3 in major tournaments! Too bad he’s out of the Australian Open.
(3) Hsieh Hsu Wei – 台灣加油！
Certainly there are others, but three’s enough for now!
