He doesn’t have the timing of Reagan or the grandiosity of Clinton but he is, I believe, easily, the funniest President we’ve ever had. Trump won the last election despite having virtually no support in the GOP and taking the media, who was somewhat relevant, head on. He now owns the party, has four years of solid results behind him and is facing a party that cannot do anything without screwing it up. The democrats took their shots and missed…the next few months could be interesting.

But the press isn’t siding against Trump, no sir.

“This is what Trump’s dangerous rhetoric does – it radicalizes even inanimate objects like E-Z UPs,” said a solemn MSNBC reporter on the scene. “Now, vans can’t even take a pleasant Saturday drive through a shopping center without getting assaulted by a Trump voter registration tent.”

“bernie Sanders is not appealing to you?” -> he nearly had an aneurysm, hahahaha

I like the way she smiled at him like he was a chimp that was chattering away at her.

I get the feeling that the press is still a little in the dark about Trump’s support.

I’m guessing it was pure panic. She’s probably afraid of losing her job for not doing the proper vetting.

Looks like Yang is dropping out.

Klobuchar goes for the moderate gambit:

When you’re not sufficiently reality-oriented to be right, and not sufficiently delusional to be wholeheartedly wrong, you try to split the difference and then pass that off as reasonable and virtuous to do so. That’s what being a moderate is about.

The people in the middle are in two fringe groups at the same time.

If both sides were weak she could pull a Genghis Khan. But both sides aren’t weak. It doesn’t help that she is openly allied with one of the sides. An independent could claim to be a Mongol. A partisan calling herself a moderate just looks like a poseur.

Time for a Klobuchar thread?

This is the real takeaway from New Hampshire.

Millionaire takes half of poor woman’s life savings as campaign contribution?

Nah…probably just another one of her made-up stories…

The glurge is strong with this one.

I want to congratulate the Dems for successfully counting the votes in New Hampshire.

Not that anyone was pay attention…

Nobody will care because nobody knew who he was but he was a sane guy who I would have preferred over virtually everybody left on the left.

Good life story, bright guy, self-made man, black, handsome, articulate, with a solid political record…but not as interesting as the 80-year old socialist.

It’s like Tulsi - female, veteran, minority, attractive, well-spoken, young, US rep…and not as interesting as a small-town mayor.

It’s like they aren’t interested in winning or something.

I’m not understanding the game plan anymore. I wouldn’t count out voting for a democrat again, but I don’t even know what’s going on with them anymore.

I listened to Tulsi in the Oct debates, I believe and she turned me off. In fact most of the women turned me off.

As for Patrick, sure he looked good on paper but there was something amiss for me with him as well.

As for Bernie, I just can’t get the appeal. Never have and never will. The fact he’s made it this far is now beginning to grate on my nerves seriously.
