2020 USA Presidential Elections Latest

I keep coming back to this thread to see if you’re actually talking about the election.

the state that gave the U.S. the royal political family of Kennedy. something wrong with the drinking water up there. for all those 2nd-gen/3rd-gen K’ers

But it also produced great statesmen like Michael Dukakis.

The trouble with Massachusetts people is they have a long history of believing all sorts of random bullshit. That’s the continuity between Boston yuppies and the Puritan witch hunters.

Although actually, it’s kind of an Acela corridor thing.

A Democrat, dismayed when a member of her IG knitting group was hounded into a nervous breakdown at the hands of online SJWs, and curious about Trump followers, attends a Trump rally in New Hampshire last weekend.

Interesting point of view. She ended up voting for Buttigieg.

Interesting poll on Nevada. Bernie tops it at 25%, Biden second at 18%, Warren 13%, Steyer 11%, Buttigieg 10%, Klobuchar 10%.

Expect Biden to keep dropping like a rock, Buttigieg and Klobuchar to rise. The one I’m interested in and the one that would be Biden’s last stand is South Carolina which for some reason, they won’t do any polling on, at least since February 5th.

Nevada is going to be on February 22.

Nice article. I can relate to her viewpoint. She’s very honest.

I can relate to that article. If you told me I would probably be voting for trump at this point in 2016, I would have never believed it.

I think one thing that opened by eyes to the Democrats of late was them giving trump a hard time about taking a call from President Tsai. I was thinking “wait, you guys don’t support Taiwan’s right to self determination?” It became clear that they just hated trump and would throw anyone under the bus to take him down.

It was down hill from there. People who I was friends with became pretty nasty to trump supporters. I’ve never gotten that kind of response as a Obama supporter.

Wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t heard it from her own mouth…Klobuchar doesn’t even know the name of the president of our southern neighbor…

She can kiss the illegal alien vote goodbye.

Well shit…that was probably like half her base. :sunglasses:

And half the votes in California.

Darkly, blackly, super-darkly hilarious that in her attempts to smooth things out there that she actually began making rational arguments for Trump’s USMCA (or at least her support of it). She also did not seem as irrational as her party about asylum and CBP reactions to many attempts since 2016 to flood the US-Mexico border with immigrants/refugees.

Was as if the curtain came up there for a sec, but only because Amy Klobuchar was near panic. A pox on her and on Democrats.

I’m not sure of the last time a sitting US President managed to snatch such rich, rich, low-hanging fruit of the electoral variety. I’ve always wondered why more political candidates have disdained doing something similar; I doubt any will going forward.

Uncontested layup.

That’s pretty awesome. Not a NASCAR fan myself, but it’s still a major sport in the US. Very popular in some states and areas. Idk how no ones has done this. I guess everyone thinks they’re too good for those redneck nascar fans lol. Totally missed out on a easy opportunity.

They got labelled “the deplorables” by Shillarious C… No self respecting New York sophisticate would lower themselves to such shameless pandering. Which is why Trump is going to win the middle.

Seems likely they were afraid of boos. There were more than 100k spectators at Daytona yesterday, so would have been yuge knews if the crowd had been unhappy.

Shows that Trump is very confident, I think. I don’t think there’s a single Dem candidate who would risk it, including the Bern.

eta: Biden could probably pull it off, but Dems seem to be moving away from candidates who actually like the US, he’s not likely to last long enough to know.

I don’t know if he would that confident to go throw out the 1st pitch for the Yankees or go to a LAkers game. But it seems like a easy place for Republicans to go to for a campaign, surprised it hasn’t been done. Republicans kind of sucked at this kind of campaigning until trump.

Should have said ‘white male’. Most of this stuff has already been kicked to the Dark Web or been drowned out by current nominations, but especially in the Obama years there was a meme going around that the Dems could never nominate a white man; that the succession was locked in from Obama to Hillary to another femoid or minority or both- there were strong rumors about Michelle. The left had some level of this too, except it was more hopey-changey than dread.
