The BBQ trend started in the 80’s. It’s about time for a new 中秋節 trend.
Weren’t they recently also catching piles of iguanas as an invasive species? Maybe we could try to sell the public on bbqing those things are well.

Will crocodile leg be the next craze after cilantro? I think the Mid-Autumn Festival needs more desserts. Somebody ought to experiment with pomelos instead of drawing on them. A pomelo spin on lemon bars could be pretty good.

What’s new this year? I’m bored of the classic flavors and need to indulge my constant need for novel desserts.
For the 2026 Moon Festival, I enjoyed my traditional meal: biryani! 
If a BBQ sauce company can invent the whole Moon Festival BBQ “tradition,” I can invent my own traditions too.
