Hello, for those interested in North German culture; the 25th North German kale dinner will happen on Friday, 21st February. Again including Live German music all night (and some Abba & 80’s) as well as delicious kale with sausages & smoked cut pork, German beer & aquavit and a few other German dishes.

It’s too bad Peter Petrel ain’t singing–probably a little too long in the tooth! 
I remember dressing up as Field Marshall Paul von Hindenburg and singing Hamburger Deern! He (Peter not the great general!!! ) used to attend these events in Taipei. A real hit with the purple hairs!!! Hanseatic cabbage farts, the German Kenny Rogers and good beer! Good times indeed.

I went last year and had a great time! Excellent food, great beer, fantastic entertainment, and a lot of really nice people to chat with. Certainly would help if you could speak German but they’re very forgiving if you can’t.
I wish I could attend again this year, but I have a commitment on that date. 
We’ll certainly have many songs of him. He wants to come back as well.
