She weighs around 26 pounds.
She was found by an animal group from a university before we got her. She was about 1 year old then. They had her spayed and microchipped. We’ve taken care of her for the last two years. She’s completely healthy. Her biggest issue is that she doesn’t leave mosquite bites or other small wounds alone and will make them worse unless you stop her (cone).
She gets along well with people but not so well with strange dogs. She can be by herself at home for many hours (no peeing at home ever or chewing furniture or that sort of thing), but like many dogs, she does need regular exercise.
She usually goes off the leash on the grass field of our nearby school, and she wears a collar that can make sound and vibrate with a remote control. I use that to make sure she stops, so I can get her back on the leash when I notice a strange dog nearby. She’s accustomed to that setup and listens to verbal commands.
