It’s my understanding from below that the 30 day requirement to re-register marriage in Taiwan only starts once TECO has authenticated foreign marriage documents (rather than 30 days from the date of first registering the marriage) . Is this correct?

國外結婚證明文件應於駐外館處驗證日起30日內至戶政機關申辦結婚登記，如無正當理由逾期者，將依戶籍法予以罰鍰；中文譯本可經駐外單位驗證或在國內經地方法院公證處或民間公證人公證。
