Anyone watching? US Finland off to an intense start
I heard something about the Canadians booing the U.S. national anthem lol.
The US players got noticeable boos lol. It being Montreal, they made a “please respect the anthems” plea before the anthems. There were some low boos at the beginning but that was about it. Finland got a big cheer when they scored. You gotta like Finland though!
After that display, I think it’s going to be hard for anyone to beat the Yanks. Canada looked good against Sweden in their opening game win, but this was complete domination against Finland. USA has the best goalie too.
I wish it wasn’t just 4 Nations and Russia was in the mix too, but well, it is what it is.
They were saying if they keep that Tkachucks-Eichel line together it looks good
I don’t think Sweden could rattle that line either. The only team that might be able to fight back is of course Canada. That should be a doosie of a game.
Looking forward to it!
Thank god that game is 9am in Taiwan. If it was a 2am start I’d have thrown things at the wall in disgust.
Where can we watch the games?
NHL has been showing the games live on YouTube for free.
Looking forward to Canada-USA! Shall be a heated contest this year…
Cheers! For some reason I assumed a paywall
Quite a start!
Oh, Canada
maybe tryout for FIFA or the MLB
never seen such slopiness. We didn’t deserve it.
US vs Sweden in 30 minutes. Wutwut
Neither team playing for anything except pride, unfortunately.
It’s a primer for me. I care about hockey for about as long as this tournament runs. lol
Ok hockey is on. Whooohoo
