Today I tried to exchange $21 into a $20 coin and 2 $0.5 coins at the Bank of Taiwan here in Kinmen but they only gave me a $20 coin. At the post office they also didn’t have any 5 Jiao coins. Maybe I should try it next time when I’m going to Taipei in either the Bank of Taiwan head office or in the Chunghwa Post head office. Or does somebody have a better idea how to obtain a 5 Jiao coin?
I think you are going on the best way already. You have to keep asking until you find it…
It’s always inspiring to see someone with talent. drive and ambition attempting to achieve a worthless goal. 
What does it mean a worthless goal? I’ve been to more than 100 countries already and in each country I’ve always seen every coin (at least every denomination) which was valid at that time. So as I have a Taiwanese wife and a Taiwanese daughter it would be nice to see every valid Taiwanese coin as well or am I asking too much?
