Didn’t someone get food poisoning from those a while back?
I’ve eaten a lot of the egg salad sandwiches in the past and never had food poisoning from them.
I have heard of the tea eggs causing problems.
Taiwan might not be the place to be if that happens once or twice per brand 
usually they have enough preservatives in convenience store/refrigerated heavily processed stuff now that food poisoning is of less concern than other more long term diseases related to said chemicals being intentionally added for food longevity/color/texture/preparation methods etc
These eggs sandwiches sent me to the toilet more than once already. Eat them at your own risk.

I wasn’t suggesting it was you personally. I just vaguely remember a Taiwan-style scandal about a rash of food poisoning supposedly being traced to 7-11 egg sandwiches. Or am I getting confused with something else?
