I asked my colleagues, the burea of agriculture, the loacl police office , checked Ikea, Piin, Costco, all night markets and some carpet shops in Taipei.
Nada nothing. No one knows where this could be bought here.
My kingdom for a bamboo carpet ! Who has seen this somewhere in Taibei?

If you mean a bamboo mat, check a store that sells bedding; they generally use them for sleeping on.
I saw some bamboo rugs as in the ones you put on the floor to walk on in Costco in Neihu a while back, my GF wasn’t too fond of 'em though. They were in the area between the clothes and the detergents. Not sure if it’s what you’re after, as carpet tends to be the stuff you put down for good on the floor.
Lost Swede, indeed it is that type I am looking for. Real rugs where you put your diner table on. easy to claean, collects no dust etc. I’ll need kep on searching seems
