A list of acronyms

This is not about learning Mandarin (that’s why i don’t post it under “Learning Chinese”) but about another part of communication: English (English-like/ English-derived) acronyms used in Taiwan.

One that is used quite often (CP conscious consumers the Taiwanese are…):
CP值好高 (on on occasion written as c/p值好高)

And a few others:
PH值好高
PP值好高
FP值好高
AFP值好高
OP时髦值好高
HCG值好高
CV值好高

Not an acronym but in the same cute format:
Ping值好高

So… the first one and the last one are pretty clear, but what do the others mean? :smiley:

I’ve never heard any of them aside from CP, which I hear all too often.

let float CP = Cost/Performance
let float CV = Cost/Value

OP时髦值好高 <-- could be saying OP’s (original poster’s) is very fashionable…

PH值好高 <-- if not just pH then I have no idea what it means.

You can find them in blogs and such places… no guarantee, though, that they are really common, like CP…

CV seems to have something to do with lab work (medicine, biology)…
