Is there a way or place where I can print stuff out from my cloud drive? For example, word documents. Thanks!
711
do I need to bring or prep anything? Or can I just walk in with my phone / scan a QR code or something there to upload the file?
Here’s a guide, but there are many more available online
Do they laminate?
This is for Japan isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve seen this machine in the 7-11’s in Taiwan, or I might have missed it?
Upload your file here first:
Then, scan the QR code at the printer at 711 (every 711 should have one!). Pay afterwards (the printer will issue a small paper which you’ll give to the clerk for payment).
Thank you so much!
For me, best way is just to export anything I want printed to PDFs and put it on a USB stick.
Hardest part is not to forget my USB stick plugged in the machine when leaving. ![]()
So it’s possible to just bring a usb to 7/11, plug it in and print directly?
I find it easier to just email the file to ibon@ibon.com.tw, which responds a couple of minutes later with a QR code you can scan at the machine.
I just don’t feel comfortable sending my documents with private information to some email address. You would never know if it is deleted afterwards or who might have access to it.
Yes. Use PDF to avoid any file format incompatibilities.
It’s supposed to be deleted after 72 hours, for what that’s worth in Taiwan:
※ 您所上傳的檔案,三天(72小時)後無論是否列印,該檔案將會自動刪除,任何人皆無法再透過取件編號列印。除取件編號持有者以外,若未自行傳遞取件編號的情況下,該檔案不會外流,敬請放心!
That said, I’m not really printing out things where I’m particularly concerned about privacy anyway. Maybe the most private would have been my income tax details or something to give to a bank, in which case I’d still have to trust the bank’s security procedures. ![]()
Yes. Note though that I’ve come across machines where the USB port isn’t working; however, this hasn’t happened often so you should be fine. And there’s always another 7-11 nearby ![]()
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Well yeah, of course you wouldn’t be a fan of that lol
Yeah

Yeah that’s what I do. The easiest way. They’ll probably take way that function in the name of progress , but for now it’s thet and simple to use.
