About the Life Forums

Explore the everyday side of living in Taiwan—health, relationships, tech, food, pets, and more, all shared through real experiences and community wisdom.

The Life Forum on Forumosa brings together the wide-ranging, real-world conversations that make up daily life in Taiwan. While the Forum itself does not host direct topics, it is home to some of our most active and beloved subforums—Health and Fitness, Dating and Relationships, LGBT Forum, Pets and Other Animals, Animal Adoptions and Emergencies, Cars and Motorcycles, Technology, Food and Drink. These are the parts of Forumosa where you’ll find community members helping each other with everything from choosing a vet or a VPN, to sharing the joys and challenges of expat life, relationships, and staying well.

Unlike topic-specific discussion forums like Travel or Work, the Life Forum captures the personal, practical, and social dimensions of being here. It’s less about policies and procedures, more about how we live—and how we help each other live better. It’s a mosaic of subforums, each one focused on a slice of everyday experience, but together offering something bigger: a shared guide to thriving in Taiwan.

Whether you’re looking to solve a problem, get a recommendation, or just connect with people navigating similar things, the Life Forum is where that happens. It’s where Forumosa feels most like a neighbourhood—diverse, opinionated, helpful, and human.
