Cause Canada is much like the USA but without the political BS USA is currently experiencing… plus I am not banned from Canada either. I think hell will freeze over before the US will let me set foot on their soil for one minute legally.

If this is the case, you may well have trouble entering Canada also.
As for the “…political BS USA is currently experiencing.” I seriously doubt whether this would have any effect on you what-so-ever.
You might be able to verify a PNG status on the internet.
Anyway, as I said, good fortune to your adventures.

any idea how? and long long is a PNG generally good for?
maybe Clinton could buy you a pardon?
Why do you think youre not able to set foot in the USA?
rahimii,
mind telling us what you did to become a PNG? i think it’s cool to be a PNG. but what did you do? just curious? did it involve nitroglycerin and other fun stuff?^^
fghfgh
I see that you have in fact changed your ways:

So, let me get this straight, you went to Texas, lived illegally, became a Republican, and they kicked you out forever?
Seriously, get a lawyer.
I did a little search on PNG over google… I am not a diplomat so I dont think I can be PNG’ed. Perhaps that Taiwanese diplomat who just got kicked out of certain country might have PNG from that nation… Unless a deportation equates to a PNG…
If moving to Canada is desirable for you and you don’t mind blowing your savings, try applying to a Canadian university as a foreign student. Given that you went to high school in the US as well as having studied at U of Texas, you should have no trouble getting admission into many fields of study. Quite a few foreign students in Canada find jobs locally after graduation and apply for landed immigrant status soon thereafter. At the very least, a Canadian university degree will mostly likely carry more weight than an online U of Phoenix degree.
With a jail record, you may need to explain yourself a bit more, but I don’t think it’s an offense that will necessarily keep you out of Canada.
What does any of this have to do with “Living in Taiwan”?
congrats cowboy!
got your self thrown in the austin county jail!
man! how could they do that to you? it ain’t right no matter how you look at it. that’s why i double DREAD moving back to the states: laws without reason or compassion. just laws.
sorry to hear that happened to you. move back and rub their faces in it with a high powered HOUSTON attorney!
in fact my friend, houston immigration attorneys could get mao dz dong a green card! judges and attorneys all went to the same school.^^ that’s how stuff works. you pay your attorney his fee, the immigration judge will get his, and everything will be hunky dory!
So you were deported from the US?
HG
Man, you post about this moving to Canada thing all the time and it gets old quickly. I get the whole ‘you’re so lucky, it’s so easy for you to move wherever you want’ spiel from Taiwanese, Indians, you name it… the truth is that some of us had to get off our asses and work damn hard to build up the resources to come here. That whole experience of living in the states is certainly something that would be impossible for a great number of people. And what’s with the intentionally vague PNG shenanigans? You did some stupid stuff in college and had to face the consequences? Sounds like real life…
I feel like a real prick for ranting at you like this but the whining undertones of ‘it’s so unfair!!’ started grating on me a while back. This is also something of a bitter topic for me because I put in a lot of effort a few years back to help out two guys who cried about how desperate they were to move to the US and UK respectively… I actually found ways in for both of them but in the end they bailed and it turned out they couldn’t really be arsed moving and just wanted something to whine about.
I’d have a lot more respect for you if you said ‘yanno, I don’t really like living here and I want to move somewhere else… I’m going to work hard, save some money and look into options for working or studying abroad’. That’s what people do when they’re serious about it. PS: why Canada? I’ve been over there a few times and was bored off my arse. It was all very… nice. The US has its ups and downs but boy, are the ups a whole lotta fun! With that said, good luck!

I hear what you are saying and partly agree but i think that a lot of us use forumosa to whine. The difference is that many of us have common experiences and relate to the whines. However, rahimiiii’s situation is so unique that it’s difficult for most of us to relate to. If other forumosans had experienced the same problems as he has, there would be many posts chiming in with support.
llary, everyone whines… including you (u whine about whiners!)
That said, given your criminal record rahimiiii, I’d suggest you head to Australia, where you’ll fit in more (as a fellow crim)
Face it, Aussies are much cooler anyway and if you have trouble getting permanent residence, marry an abbo.

Come to my country of a Kazakhstan. It nice.
You’re not PNG, but it will be difficult for you to get a visa. If you want to return to the US you could hire a lawyer who could make the necessary appeals.
Thanks for the response… like I said I wont go back to the USA anymore… I mean even without criminal record it’s pretty hard as it is (people wait 20 years just to get interviewed for a green card, with no assurance of success… they can be denied for any reason if the agent is having a bad day). I never been to Canada but I heard things about it… maybe I’d take a vacation there in the future to see if it is as good as they are cracked up to be. I really feel uneasy in Taiwan and reading websites telling how much Taiwan sucks doesn’t help much either. If I had kids I’d do everything possible to send them to US/Canada/Aust./UK/whatever than let them study in Taiwan. I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy’s kid to a school in Taiwan. Of course if my goal is to make my kid a robot (like many Taiwanese/Chinese parents do) then I wouldn’t have problem sending kids to a school here…
