Good catch Tommy! If this gets government approval–and I don’t see why not–Air Canada is aiming for a June 8, 2017 start.

Glad to see as well that Air Canada is aiming for daily service. The irregular EVA flight from TPE-YVR (what is it, four or five flights per week?) usually makes planning trickier.

Maybe good its AirCanada does not fly to Taouyan, a Canada Airlines jet came close it hitting a EVA airlines jumbo jet.

JFK seems to have a lot of issues these days. They have near collisions in the air and now with ground traffic handling too. They need better supervision. Air Canada in this case was in the wrong though.
