For those of us who are excited about the new ease of traveling to China, finding the best flight can also be a tricky thing. These are brand new routes opening up with some new carriers, and information can tend to be murky at best. A good option can be Air China. They have just opened up a new office in Taiwan, as you will see if you google it. There are posts galore about the new office. Unfortunately, there is not one post that I could find that actually has a phone number or address to the office. Has anybody out there found them?
Apparently it’s not just an English thing, my wife could find nothing in Chinese either. Business must be good when you can open up an office and not have phones for it, and offer no discounts. Looks like some are weathering the economic meltdown better than others.
When talking to a travel agent here in Taipei, we found out the Air China, as of now, are not offering any one month tickets, only 3 month tickets. In that case, our flight from Taiwan to Beijing will be about 20,000NT return.
