Air Conditioners in Sync?

Noticed that 3 (of 5 or more) different types of air conditioners in different parts of a home have the same situations at the same time.

They all start blinking red light at same time (reset), they all quit pushing cool air at the same time but then start working again at same time, etc.

They don’t appear be connected so I’m guessing they were all serviced at same time and that individual sync’d timers inside are the cause.

But it is ghost month so :japanese_ogre:

:ghost:

There are no timers. They’re thermostat controlled.

You have 5 on at the same time?

My wife told me the house will explode if i turn two on at the same time.

Don’t some have a timer that the technician should set (or automatic) after cleaning so it notifies you when it’s ready for another cleaning? Maybe not

Ghosts sounds a completely reasonable explanation for this. Or, failing that, an inaccurate characterization of the problem

Mine has similar beliefs, although it is apparently OK to daisy-chain dozens of extension cords together and plug cement mixers and arc furnaces into each available outlet. Said behaviour tripping out the breakers, and at one point resulting in a blackened molten mess of plastic, has not yet changed her mind on the subject.
