Air Ticket Taipei - Bangkok

I am planning a trip to Taipei and Thailand in May 2005. I can get a cheap ticket here in Belgium from Amsterdam to Taipei and back from Bangkok to Amsterdam. But here in Europe the flight from Taipei to Bangkok is really expensive !!!

Can anybody tell me how much a one-way ticket from Taipei to Bangkok would cost me if I book it in a travel agency in Taipei. Is it hard to find seats in May on these flights?

Thanks very much if you can help me!!!

Sofie

Though others seem to finding a lot better deals than I have, the best rate I’ve found on Thai Airways is TPE-BKK return at 12,000NT (roughly 290 Euro). So, a one way would likely be slightly more than half that, probably in the neighbourhood of 200 Euro.

Hello Sofie ,

TPE-BKK One Way Airfare Ticket :
Please be note that fares are subject to change .

CI(China Airlnes =NT$8479
BR(Eva Airlines) =NT$7890

TPE-BKK-TPE round trip: about NT$8500 on KLM. That was the deal I got 2 months ago at Astor Travel.

Why not try using the airline themselves. KLM are great.

Not cheap. 14,410.00 including tax for 25th May.

The crucial thing is the length of stay which noone has mentioned. Book a return it may well be cheaper as it is officially illegal to go to Thailand one way.

I got a return for nt$6000 in August - book with a travel agent in Taiwan, it’s cheaper than going throught the airline. A one-way is cheaper - I got one quote at nt$5000 (return nt$8500), but maybe you could find cheaper. All you need is a ticket out of the country - it doesn’t have to be a return flight - I suspect, anyway. Ring the consulate and ask.

Thanks all very much for the tips, but I was able to find another solution with all my flights booked here in Europe.

I will come to Taipei from 27th May for 1 week. I am really excited about it, because I am planning on coming for 1 year in 2006. So this is a trip to see if I like it here and will be able to spend a whole year here.

Whenever I phone around for tickets I always get prices with tax included. So why don’t you just give us the full price. It would save a lot of hassle in the end.

Yes,i agree.
But that is how the way I do.
You must know that prices are subject to change
as well as taxes and it also depend on your flight itinerary and flight schedule . if you wish to purchase the ticket now and then I could give the full price because there will be no changes occur to be sure.
that is the reason I don’t want to give the full price right away.

Thank you for your letter.

Anyone know how much I should pay for a round trip fare to Bangkok. I plan to go the week before CNY, and come back the week after.

Also, If you can reccommend a good agent, I"m all ears.

Me also… figured out that we booked a room on Koh Samui last year which we can still occupy… or loose it when we fail to go there before march 2006 (sorry guys and girls, NOT transferable: lol: )
