I guess next they will top the Safest Airline awards.
But, yes, the lockdowns came at the wrong time for them, I hope they get through it and get a good chance to prove themselves.
I’ve read several good reviews, not really surprising when knowing how excellent both EVA and China Airlines is.
They sure picked the worst time to start an airline since the Wright Brothers got that first man made bird in the air

You guys must be missing the memo. People are eager to fly abroad. Especially young people and rich folks. As soon as borders open planes will be full again.

Yes, also agree. But it will interesting to see if people fly like on Ryan Air with seats so close and so many people in the plane. On their internal EU flights, you have a choice of the car, or train which seem be a more safe choice.
Ryanair is cutting more than 3000 jobs, I think people still will prefer flying. Just less people travelling for a couple of years.

Next year…
I have an idea…Create specific visa zones within countries where foreign visitors from certain countries can come in without quarantine. Whole islands could be cordoned off. If you are a local you would have to quarantine going out of that zone in your country.
If they want lots of foreign tourists this could be a way to do it. Islands and Peninsulas and tourist areas such as Bali ,Phuket, Da Nang, Boracay…
Some of these islands operate with their own visa zones already.
I heard Vietnam and Thailand want to open up to Korean and Chinese tourists asap…How they actually do it is another question. I recommend they use my clever scheme.
ORLY? Will they Status Match Star Alliance Gold? I’ve got Aeroplan/Star Alliance Gold and they’ve extended everyone well into 2022 so I can have some leeway to try other airlines.
