Starlux finally gets a bird down. Good sign for sure…
It seems they are trying the South Runway now. First EVA failed, second touched down.
The Captain cops a “please explain” for late arrival, and no doubt for diverts too. Remember the theories that abounded as to why SQ006 even tried to depart that night back in 2000 during a Typhoon.
I’m not sure that’s reassuring phrasing.
EVA just went one from two
Yes, they are very popular on the interwebs right now.
Mind you, their Scheduling people will be tearing their hair out.
Well they should have thought of that before deciding to put Taiwan in a typhoon active area! ![]()
Guy
and Starlux landed one SJX823.
And EVA 711 has finally been released into the line for its try at glory.
Watch for 711 with my friend on it…
EVA 131 ![]()
CAL517 finally ready for take off. They were sitting at the end of the South Runway for a long time.
258 yeah nah yeah
seven big birds all lined up now
Conditions at the airport seem to have improved, no more drama, nothing to see, we can go home now. ![]()
There is even a bit of a sunset going on.
Having said that EVA183 had some serious shake up there.
Now comes the 711.
EVA711 is the next …. will it land?
nailed it
Looks like it did, gusts must be less now as fewer doing the go-around.
The smaller ones seem to have problems, still
It might land right at your neighborhood 7-11.
EVA005 aborted
Interestingly, no foreign airlines have landed, or even approached, the last few hours
Where are they diverted to?
