Aliv, the Prince/ss

From the makers of Seven Days in Heaven (父後七日), Aliv, the Prince/ss is another film that focuses on balancing tradition and reality in Taiwan. This time the main character is a member of the LGBTQ community, who happens to also be from the Paiwan tribe.

Balancing his/her reality of living in the city, and the expectations of his/her father and tribesmen, Aliv is set on a journey of self-discovery and trail blazing.

Seems like an unique film. Glad that diversity in Taiwan’s film industry is still a growing trend.
