A lot of McCafes open until 3am and reopen at 4 or 5am. You won’t be the only one either, it’s a popular establishment for late night work.

15 to 80 between 8pm and 7am. Probably more women than men, but depends on location.

Age depends on location. Taipei is city of elders (I think 2nd oldest in age of peoples) so in Taipei lots of Elders go for cheap food or drink. Hsinchu is younger peoples and here in Kao City lots students go there. Maybe more men go there or older ones, younger women like newer desert shops, with nice cakes.

You will probably have better luck in bars or nightclubs. But you can give it a try.

Troubled me, I can’t stand the sound (level) in those places. I prefer it silent enough, that you can talk w/o screaming. Never found a nightclub were that be the case.
