Is there some evidence beyond FB comments that this actually occurred?

One of the parents is a top real estate youtuber called Ted. He released a video describing the situation the best he could while sobbing. In the video, he claims that he and the rest of the parents have more evidence, but will only release them to the judge. Otherwise, any photo or video evidence released would have the faces blurred to protect the kids and people involved.
As for the kindy, they claim that the teacher regularly uses scotch tape and has a habit of keeping the extras on her arm for later use, and what is being discuss is not duct tape. They also say that when one of the children is acting out and affecting the others, they would dim the lights to clam them down, but the kid acting out is not put into an isolated dark room as claimed.
As for evidence, Ted claimed that when the parents confronted the kindy, they were reluctant to let them review the surveillance footage, and also there are way too many blind spots. If the kindy was indeed reluctant to let the parents review the footage, or attempts to delete some of the footage, then something is definitely going on.
The kindy is suspended for now, mostly because it was operating under a buxiban license.
The rest is up to the judge I guess.

Yeah I guess we will get some idea about the evidence sooner or later!
Chinese culture is very risk-averse. They might just be worried that someone sees anything that can be used against them
I mean, unless what they want to hide is worse than what they are being accused of, otherwise it’s pretty silly to aggravate all of the parents of all of the kids there to demand to review the footage, especially when one of them has a youtube channel with half a million subscribers.

They might not know what is on the cameras. Why take the risk.
