The link to Amazon.com is a great idea if it people click through and order products. But I think it needs a little refinement.
First, perhaps a small mention that the affiliate link is for forumosa. Somwhere else you need to explain how any commisions earned will be used. This may dispel any confusion that some readers may have.
Secondly, the Amazon layout seems too big and dark. It tends to overpower the page. See the example below. 
Also, take a look at the DVD Audio Commentary thread in the Films and Books forum to see what I mean. Perhaps reduce some of the dark empty space above and below the product link and Amazon logo or else try putting the link on the left hand sidebar. Also, change the background color to something else. Grey or white maybe?
Any body have any other ideas or suggestions?
