Andrew Is Back In Taiwan (Help 🤗)

It’s now been around 3 years since I’ve been back.

Could I get any tips on restaurants to try. Local and higher end. Whatever is interesting or even new.

And anything new like a new mall or something like that worth checking out. I’m only here a few days with family.

Any help would be appreciated. 3 years feels like a lifetime tbh and I do notice some changes in Taipei.

What have I been missing out?

First thing I did was go to villa like spa which is imo the best massage place in the entire world. I’ve traveled all over and I’ve never found a better place.

Welcome back!

If you want to hate your life, I recommend visiting the newest mall Lalaport in Nangang. Bonus points if you show up on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Over priced

Let’s go to Guanghua and buy yet another new laptop.

Compared to? This place rocks, and is dirt cheap for a high end place. By western standards, it’s dirt cheap, period.

I’m in, is this before or after our romantic walk in Sanchong?

is that where all the ladies of the night are?

Before. Everyone knows Sanchong pops at night.

Check out Glasshouse at Capella.

I’ve always had consistent quality and once you find the person you like best, i still book with the same person for years I’ve been using.

The price is higher on average in Taiwan but it’s truly dirt cheap if you’re used to western prices that’s far worse in service

Heard that place has a $1,500 minimum (!?!?)

I’ve never been disappointed at Cantina del Gio. Pricey but you can afford it, Andrew.

Don’t remember, but honestly speaking I usually don’t struggle to make minimums anywhere

Memory prices have gone off the charts.

Hot pot, night markets? Maybe eat at alley cats?

I don’t know, I think just eat taiwanese or maybe Japanese food. You can eat British food in Britain.

They’re mostly affecting people building their own computers and less so with laptops as those guys are buying memory chips in giant quantities, but expect the prices on their next year model to go up a bit.

Ddr4 platforms have resurged due to the ddr5 prices as ddr4 is still relatively affordable but this kind of supply shortage seems very abnormal. Most PC parts depreciate, not appreciate in price.

I cannot imagine that will be better than the food he’s eating in Italy. :italy:

No offense AC.

But do grab a beer at Vinyl Decision, right around the corner!

Doesn’t surprise me. You know what they say about a man with big shoes :eggplant:

He’s a clown

Do not forget the requisite rooftop! :grandpa:

This is a solid recommendation. Second floor bar the best.
