150nt cover only-3 bands

LIVE@THE LIVING ROOM

In the year of the gun, roots music lives for your protection and
satisfaction. Please join our ceremony as we blast this sweet, sweet
sound.

PUBLIC RADIO 10PM-11PM

Public Radio has spent the last 7 days meditating to the sound of
shadows. They have transmogrified their holy image into the 5
elements of quantum rock. Metal>wood>earth>water>fire. From
destruction comes re-birth and ass shaking breakdowns to the 4th
power. Seat belts and safety goggles are MANDATORY for this show.

THE ANGLERS 11PM-MIDNIGHT

[/color]The Anglers have been spreading their barefoot brand of roots and
reggae around this little island for 4 years now, & have built a
loyal, sweaty following along the way. They enjoy birding, low-impact
sports, wasabi, and pijio by moonlight. profile.myspace.com/theanglers

THE SOUND CLASHES 12AM-LATE

After less than 2 years of existence,Taiwan’s only ska party machine, The Sound Clashes, will come to an end as we know it. The time has come for singer/founder Andrew McKenzie of The Sound Clashes to leave this land of betel nut beauties and this is your last chance to see the band in their entire 9 piece, horn-blasting, pumping rhythm that make yo’ rump shake, fine form. A very sincere thanks to everyone who has supported The Sound Clashes in the past and come out for a great party, great music, and a great guy!

PUBLIC RADIO STARTS AT 10PM SHARP SO DON’T BE LATE FOOL
!

LIVE AT THE LIVING ROOM FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17TH
臺北市南京東路五段8號3樓 3F, #8, Nanjing E. Rd, Sec. 5 Tel: 02-8787-4154

also something to be added to the list of reasons for the celebrations:
Andrew and his girl, Eunice, are happy to announce that they are getting married.
So for all those people who are out there reading this, please come out and raise a glass to the happy couple to their future together.

Well, don’t think we will miss Andrew’s band that much. However, Public Radio was a pleasure to listen to, so much better than the few demo’s on their website: balanced choice of songs, energetic, fresh, and the base guitar and drums form an excellent basis for the two guitars to fill in. Singing is maybe a bit weak, but that might have been the sound equipment in the packed Living Room. The guy who drums in Public Radio is a delight.

What are you trying to land a job in the entertainment section of the China Post? Truly a delight to read your music criticisms. A pleasure really.

Well I have to say. That was one of the funnest nights playing music I have had in a long time. I felt like all three bands were well recieved and did a stand up job. I wish someone would have stepped up and told public radio that our vocals were too damn quiet the whole time!!

I personally am going to miss the hell out the Sound Clashes “Until” they are up and running again. Reggae is my favorite style of music despite the fact that I play in a rock and roll band and they are the biggest breathe of musical fresh air on this island for me.

Thanks everyone for coming out. 120 people!! That is capacity for that joint and we f#$cked it up good and raw the way it should be done.

peace

No, I have a job already. You are welcome.
