I am trying hard to recall a word that I came across during my stay in a hotel at Taipei. I was going through the inventory list and a particular word ‘stood up’ which I wasn’t able to relate to any item in the room. I had to do a check via online dictionary and found out that it was a vanity tray where shower caps, shampoo and toothbrushes were placed.
I have been trying to recall this word. Appreciate your help.
I don’t understand. Do you mean the Chinese word for vanity tray or a different word in English for vanity tray?

The word is ONE word, and that ONE word itself explains that it’s a vanity tray. So it’s not xxx tray or xxx basket.
I’ll eat my feather boa if there is really a single word for a vanity tray. The only word I can find is apothecary, but it should be an “apothecary jar” for holding cotton balls, etc.
