I am looking for antifungal powder that is similar to talcum powder. Pharmacies I’ve been to only have creams. I am hoping a powder could be sprinkled into shoes and socks for better effectiveness.
Is there a particular product you’re looking for? It may help the pharmacies to help you locate the right product if you give them drug name, rather than just “powder”.
For example “Isoconazole” and ask if they have it in powder form.
Talcum is a little harder to find because of potential cancer causing properties but there are other options like powders with cornstarch. I buy at Poya.
Borax has many uses in the home… its used as an antifungal by some. Vinegar and baking soda has some uses too. Lots of info out there for people to do their own research.
Are you looking for effectiveness against something specific, like toenail fungus or athlete’s foot?
iHerb might be easiest, they have powders and you’ll receive in less than a week.
