Are extra numbers allowed now (again?). Or is it only that you cannot have two prepaid numbers?

There is no law preventing you from having a thousand. However the telecom companies have their own restrictions. Taiwan mobile for example only allows foreigners to have one prepaid number, however you can go to other companies and get more.
Really? That’s wacky. Dare I ask, why just foreigners?
Many get many sims and sell them to scammers when they finish their work contracts and leave Taiwan.
