The first teaching job for most people is with some buxiban where the boss demands you to work like a salaried teacher, but treats you like hourly paid (which you are). Things like expecting you to do marketing activities for free and then deducting money from your pay for clocking in one minute late.

I think that’s why a lot of people get into an 'Is it in my contract? mindset, which of course isn’t going to fly with a professional school.

Last Econ teacher. Had a minimum of 30 teaching periods of 45 minutes each, and that’s with 2 other econ teachers.
