I’m specifically looking for a grease gun, and torque wrench.
I do in Kaoshiung.
Grease guns are surprisingly widely available, even in some of the Tainan all-night-hardware-store chain outlets.
There are a few fairly good tool stores in Kaoshiung which sell torque wrenches, but I couldn’t find the beam-indicating type anywhere (too “old-fashioned” :aiyo: ) and had to get my gf to bring one back from the yook.
I don’t know Taipei, but Mr S has recommended 300 Section 1, Huánhé South Road, Wanhua District, Taiwan for tools.
[url]Axle Stands?
Just google mapped the place up here. Looks promising. Ill check it out tomorrow. Thanks a lot
You’re welcome.
Fraid I dunno how to do neat links that work.
Pardon (or ignore) my nosiness, but what’s the grease-gun for? AFAIK they’re only used on commercials these days.
I bought one in the UK a long time ago for my Morris Marina suspension and prop shaft, but they were rare even then, and that car was probably mostly 1930’s technology. (Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing )
You running a truck (or a very old car)?
I’ve got a Jeep with custom adjustable control arms. They have what are called “Johnie joints” which need to be greased.
You can also check out the side of Wenchang bridge. I imagine they have everything the average home mechanic needs in terms of decent quality tools.
Yeah I know about a place where you can buy any kind of mechanics tool and this company also provide auto repair services. They have expert team of auto repair mechanics.
