I might be there, but work is taking over my life and I can’t train for it.

You’ll need to find transportation to come down. I wouldn’t suggest descending down to Puli, but…people have done it.

Takes a lot out of you. Especially when it’s a 60km descent.

Yes, the event has the option to book the descent transportation. I changed my mind and won’t due the upcoming one - I plan to take the summer one instead now.

I am just posting to check if anyone has heard about the situation of this race yet. I’ve booked to do the ride on Monday, and am travelling from Hong Kong. I guess the earthquake would likely cancel this but I’ve not heard anything about it yet.

Anyone have any news?

Next question is if anyone knows the website to check road status. Since I will be travelling to Taiwan anyway and can’t do the KOM, I might do the North Cross Highway (again). I just want to see what is the status of Route 7.
