I read online it’s now possible, or maybe possible for a number of years already, for an ROC passport holder with Taiwan ID card and/or proof of being on Taiwan household registration to enter China simply by flying into an specific Airport like Beijing, Shanghai, or Xiamen, or by sea/land border like the ones at HK/Shenzhen or Macau without first getting a Taiwan Compatriot pass but have anyone done it yet? I read one gets there go to a specific “desk” after landing with the roc passport and Id card and get two photos taken and get processed a three month entry permit to show the immigration desk though have anyone here done it? If so what was your experience?
