My husband bought a carseat on ebay US. It is now in LA and we are hoping to find someone to bring it back to Taipei for us in the near future. We are happy to pay a fee for carrying it on the plane, and can probably offer a free ride from the airport to Taipei if needed, too.

You should post that on buy/sell at parentpages, several parents are looking but I for one never have time to go through the taiwanteds.
Does the seat you have a strap that fits over the headrest of the seat in the car? We only have lap belts in the van, so our carseat must have this extra strap.
I think she wants a child car seat, not a dog one.
