Very hard to hear with calls even when the volume is turned all the way up.

Mine comes on quite loud.
How old is your phone? iPhone or Android? Brand?
Have your tried a different ringtone?
It’s not the ringtone, it’s the audio volume when on a LINE audio call, I think…
If it’s an Android phone, you can try increasing the volume of Line only, using an third party app 
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Ya it’s not the ringer it’s when I’m talking to people it’s often hard to hear even at full volume.
I have an iPhone SE (old version)
ReCebtly my wife complained about this as well.
Quality and audio volume.
May be the app is overloaded.
But also with old phones the speaker and microphone get blocked with gunk. Maybe use a hair dryer to see if you can clear it out ?
