Applicants who do not meet the skills requirement of the job advertisment

All of them, or just the ones who want to work for you?

Is it all the pointing?

我看不太懂你故事裡的歧視在哪裡,但如果你真的相信台灣人在台灣有受到歧視,我建議你依照法律申訴:

I applied for a job - that I don’t have the skills for - and didn’t get it. Years later I myself advertised a job and people who do not posses the required skills applied.

Sounds like a clear cut case of discrimination to me!

比較像是個雇主想要100%合適的應徵者,不願考慮肯學的應徵者問題
Looks more like a boss looking for that applicant that 100% fit the requirement and refuses to accept an applicant who is willing to learn problem to me.

你終於站在陳年前拒絕你的雇主的鞋子裏了。。。

There’s a big assumption here, that the same foreign applicants applying for the job are also the ones saying “why should we teach you English?”

You do realize these are two separate groups of people right?

Anyway people get desperate for work because they need money to live. I don’t think you can really fault people for trying, that’s just part of the hiring process.

Of course teaching Chinese on the job is a bit silly depending on their current level, but you will usually need to train your new employees which will usually cost you some money. So yeah you do kinda need to teach your new employees for free.

Anyway I’m sorry you had some bad experiences with some rude people in the past.

I don’t know what is the problem, is normal to get unqualified people. Taiwanese people have to do the same when they do working holidays in other countries.
