APRC application on job-seeking ARC

Hi all, I am very close to my APRC but I am also extremely burnout from my current job and not sure if I can continue like this.

I have checked that you can apply for APRC on job seeking visa, but they require additional documents, such as:

(iv) Applicants seeking employment shall additionally submit a written statement explaining the progress of job seeking activities, the means of livelihood during the job-seeking period, and plans for livelihood after obtaining permanent residency, together with supporting evidence.

Did anyone try to apply on job seeking ARC and has any idea what kind of documents they are talking about? Does it impact your APRC application and is the review time also standard 14 days and such, or does it require more appointments and providing immigration with even more proofs and more documents?

I will be very thankful for all the responses!

Yes I will also call the hotline but would love to hear other people’s experiences.

It’s anecdotal, but since no one else has replied…

From the Facebook APRC group, it looks like more people are being rejected while applying on the job-seeking ARC. According to them, immigration is ā€˜interpreting’ the new requirements to block APRC applications for people who are unemployed.
